Everyone is not your audience

Overtime, I have discovered that some new business owners assume that everybody is their audience. This leaves me like, ‘You mean the whole market?’ The marketplace has become too differentiated that a general classification of audience is an attempt to failure.

A business can’t afford to serve every niche of the society. Identifying the specific target that would need your product or service is a step towards building a successful brand.

A clear focus of whose need a business satisfies will guide in creating a message that would be appealing to them, because, what shall it profit a business, if it focuses on everybody and loses everybody?
